Print Art, Inc. Named to Select List of Master Printers in the World

Local Firm Named a “G7 Master Printer” —One of just 443 in the world certified to match proofs to the finished print.

Print Art, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has achieved G7^® Master Printer Status. The G7^® Master qualification mark means that the company uses the most modern technology, techniques, proofing, press controls, and standards required to produce a visual match from proof to print. Of the thousands of printers in the world, only 443 have reached this elite status.

Print Art earned its certification through IDEAlliance, a nonprofit association that advances standards and best practices in information technology and publishing. G7^® Master Printers proof and print to the highest color standard in the industry, which means print buyers can rely on G7^® Masters, like Print Art, to have faster make-readies, extremely accurate proof-to-print matches and consistent, high print quality.

In addition to it’s G7^®  Master Printer certification, Print Art was recently named an FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified company by the Rainforest Alliance. Certification through the Rainforest Alliance is the industries most rigorous, requiring extensive audits and detailed annual reporting. The program is in place to encourage companies to handle forest products, such as paper, responsibly, with minimal impact to the environment.
